Guns and Hoses

The Buhl Guns vs. Hoses Softball Game has become a beloved annual tradition, bringing together the Buhl Police Department, Buhl Fire Department, and community members for an evening of friendly competition and community support.

What began in 2021 as a fun rivalry between local first responders has grown into a meaningful fundraising event dedicated to giving back to the community. While the game still features plenty of bragging rights between Team Guns and Team Hoses, the true focus is supporting local youth and strengthening community connections.

For the past two years, proceeds from the event have been donated to the Buhl Youth Sports Program. This volunteer-run organization provides local children with opportunities to participate in youth athletics, helping them develop teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence both on and off the field.
